You may use Rial's Services for legitimate purposes, including:

• Verifying authenticity of photos for insurance claims
• Establishing chain of custody for legal proceedings
• Documenting field work, inspections, or deliveries
• Protecting against fraud in business operations
• Verifying media authenticity for journalism
• Building applications that require image verification
• Research and educational purposes

3. Prohibited Uses

3.1 Illegal Activities

You may NOT use our Services to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Engage in or facilitate illegal activities
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Violate privacy rights or data protection laws
• Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or deception

3.2 Harmful Content

You may NOT use our Services to verify, distribute, or facilitate:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child exploitation
• Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn")
• Content promoting violence, terrorism, or extremism
• Harassment, stalking, or doxxing
• Hate speech or discriminatory content

3.3 Abuse of Services

You may NOT:

• Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Use automated means to access Services in violation of our Terms
• Share API keys or credentials with unauthorized parties
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions
• Use Services to spam, phish, or distribute malware

3.4 Misrepresentation

You may NOT:

• Misrepresent Rial's capabilities or verification results
• Falsely claim photos are verified when they are not
• Use our branding or logos without permission
• Impersonate Rial or our employees
• Make false or misleading claims about verification status

3.5 Device Tampering

You may NOT use Services on devices that have been:

• Jailbroken or rooted
• Modified to bypass hardware security features
• Compromised by malware or unauthorized software
• Configured to spoof GPS, time, or other metadata

Note: Verification on tampered devices may produce unreliable results and is a violation of this Policy.

4. Professional Responsibilities

4.1 Insurance and Claims Professionals

If using Rial for insurance claims verification:

• Do not rely solely on Rial's verification for claim decisions
• Conduct additional due diligence as required by your policies
• Understand that Rial verifies device origin, not claim validity
• Comply with all applicable insurance regulations

4.2 Legal Professionals

If using Rial for legal evidence:

• Consult with legal counsel regarding admissibility in your jurisdiction
• Maintain proper chain of custody documentation
• Do not represent Rial's verification as legal advice
• Understand the technical limitations of cryptographic verification

4.3 Healthcare Professionals

If using Rial in healthcare contexts:

• Ensure HIPAA compliance for all patient-related imagery
• Do not use Rial for medical diagnosis or treatment decisions
• Verify regulatory compliance in your jurisdiction
• Maintain appropriate security measures for patient data

4.4 Journalists and Media

If using Rial for media verification:

• Conduct independent fact-checking beyond technical verification
• Protect source anonymity as appropriate
• Do not misrepresent verification results to the public
• Understand that device authenticity ≠ content truthfulness

5. Rate Limits and Fair Use

5.1 API Usage

• Respect rate limits specified in your plan
• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts
• Contact us if you need higher limits for legitimate use cases

5.2 Resource Consumption

• Do not abuse computing resources (e.g., excessive proof generation)
• Implement reasonable caching to minimize redundant verification requests
• Report bugs or performance issues instead of exploiting them

6. Data Usage Restrictions

6.1 What You Can Do

• Store cryptographic proofs for your own verification needs
• Share verification results as needed for legitimate business purposes
• Build applications that integrate Rial's verification

6.2 What You Cannot Do

• Resell Rial's verification services without authorization
• Create competing verification products using our technology
• Extract or aggregate verification data for commercial resale
• Use verification data to train machine learning models without permission

7. Reporting Violations

7.1 How to Report

If you become aware of violations of this Policy, report them to:

• Include: Description of violation, relevant URLs or account information, evidence if available

7.2 What We'll Do

Upon receiving a report, we will:

• Investigate the alleged violation
• Take appropriate action (warning, suspension, or termination)
• Notify you of the outcome if you were the reporter

8. Enforcement

8.1 Violations

Violations of this Policy may result in:

• Warning: First-time or minor violations
• Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations
• Permanent Termination: Serious or repeated violations
• Legal Action: Illegal activities or significant harm

8.2 Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated:

• Include your account details and explanation
• We will review appeals within 7 business days
• Our decision is final

9. Law Enforcement Cooperation

We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law or when we believe in good faith that cooperation is necessary to:

• Comply with legal obligations

• Prevent imminent harm to persons or property
• Investigate potential criminal activity

10. Changes to This Policy
